Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, data-driven, Corporate Recruiter to deliver top talent in a high growth, ever-changing environment. An ideal team member will strive to achieve staffing objectives by identifying talent for opportunities within the insurance brokerage space. This recruiter will be based in our NY headquarters, recruiting for the business and operations side of the organization. Primary role will be the identification of candidates for full-time employment across the US. Building rapport with hiring managers is key to the success of this role. Proactive recruiting is required as much of the talent in our niche are passive candidates in high demand.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting support to the HRBP’s and Hiring Managers by handling all aspects of recruiting
  • Manage high volume staffing demands and deliver hires averaging 10+ per month
  • Administer job postings, data, job requisitions within CareerBuilder ATS
  • Implement high volume sourcing strategies to identify candidates (Internet research, social networking, online database search tools)
  • Influence; guide and partner with internal managers both remote and in person to identify, attract, assess and hire the best talent.
  • Thrive in a fast paced environment but have a genuine demeanor to learn and understand our business
  • Have a solid Corporate Recruiting expertise as an individual contributor
  • Comfortable filling 15 jobs a month
  • Must be able to build a strong candidate pipeline
  • Recruit nationally on all levels
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organization levels and exercise solid judgment

 

Job Requirements

  • Local candidates only; no remote work
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle recruitment, in a sales environment experience preferred
  • Superior Research and Sourcing skills and a willingness/enthusiasm for cold calling is essential
  • Self-starter with a superior work ethic and a defined sense of urgency is required
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities and pivot as required
  • An understanding and appreciation of broader HR practices and success in navigating an organization
  • Hands-on ATS & LinkedIn Recruiter experience required
  • Ability to deliver upon the need for 10+ hires a month
  • Stellar communication skills (phone, in-person, electronic)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skill Set (Excel, PP, Word)
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with a sense of urgency
  • AIRS Certification a plus
