Job Description

Are you seeking an opportunity to engage with higher profile accounts and service incoming new business opportunities? If yes, keep reading! We are seeking a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager!

You will be:

  • Responsible for servicing a commercial book of business- marketing, underwriting, servicing, renewal negotiation, risk analysis, consulting, problem resolution, reviewing and rating
  • Asked to maintain productive business relations and engage in extensive contact with clients, producers and underwriters
  • Accessing special risks, i.e. pyrotechnics, stunts, hazardous activity, aircraft, watercraft, weather coverage as needed and to be able to fully understand the risk and the coverage
  • Reviewing of contracts for locations, rentals,
  • Ensuring that clients have continuous and proper coverage and advise client of any change recommendations
  • Computer inputting and general policy servicing. Preparing specifications, and interacting with insurance carriers. Issuing of binders, invoices, proposals, schedules of insurance and certificates of insurance
  • Actively reviewing current policies and provide recommendations regarding placement options. Utilize coverage checklist and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage and premiums
  • Rounding out and cross selling book of business to reach agency/department growth goals

 

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of commercial brokerage experience servicing accounts
  • Experience with Entertainment clients preferred
  • Valid P&C brokers’ license
  • A developing knowledge of commercial insurance markets to place new/renewal business
